Daily 30-Minute Instagram Engagement Routine

Let's be real, engaging on Instagram is hard work. I'll be honest and say it takes me a lot of hours in order to engage with target accounts to build my followers and grow.

It's so much that I've created a whole routine for me which helps me to engage and grow on Instagram in a timely manner. Are you trying to find your groove with Instagram?

You've come to the right place! I've shared my routine below which may help you in the long run. Let the countdown begin!

Daily 30-Minute Instagram Engagement Routine

5 Minutes - Engage on the home feed
5 Minutes - Watch Instagram Stories
5 Minutes - Engage with anyone who is live
10 Minutes - Respond to DM's + Commetns
5 Minutes - Engage with my target hashtags

10 Minutes - Respond to DM's + Commetns

The first thing you'll want to do is respond to any comments that were left on your posts from the past day or so. If someone leaves a comment on one of your posts, it's important that you address it as soon as possible because it could be driving traffic away from your profile. Once you've responded to a comment, make sure to give that commenter some love by liking their post!

If someone comments on one of your photos, like it, or tag them in another post, make sure to respond! It's important to engage with all followers' posts, especially those who take the time to engage with yours.5 Minutes - Engage on the home feed

5 Minutes - Engage on the home feed with all follower's posts

This is the most important step for growing your Instagram account. When someone likes or comments on one of your photos, it shows up in their home feed — so if they like or comment on a lot of your photos, you'll see more engagement from them.

If you want to grow your following, then make sure you're engaging with everyone who likes or comments on one of your posts. This doesn't mean that you should start liking every single photo that someone posts — but if they're commenting on one of yours, make sure that they know that it's appreciated by liking one of theirs in return.

The more engagement you get from other users, the more likely they are to engage with future posts — and eventually, become brand loyalists who follow your account because they enjoy what you have to say or share!

5 Minutes - Watch Instagram Stories

Watching others' stories is a great way to get inspiration for your own posts and learn from other businesses successes and failures. The best part is that it only takes 5 minutes!

5 Minutes - Engage with anyone who is live

IF any of your followers are kive, it doesn't hurt to pop in and see what they're up to! Feel free to even say hi in the chat, there is no harm in this.

5 Minutes - Engage with my target hashtags

This is the easiest way to get your account in the eyes of any target customers. If you don't know what hashtags to use, search for terms related to your business or industry and see what comes up. You can also use tools like Flick to discover other relevant hashtags for your niche.

Conclusion

In the end, this is just advice. You have to do what works best for you, but it might be worth trying out some of these tips and routines in order to grow your brand's Instagram following. Remember to always be genuine, or else you'll run into real problems down the road. Growing on Instagram takes effort, but if you follow the tips laid out here, you can be sure that your efforts are paying off.
