What are affirmations?

The point of affirmations is to make your subconscious believe something. This is different from making yourself feel good by repeating positive affirmations.

If a positive affirmation is repeated often enough, it can make someone feel good, but the purpose of affirmations is not to cheer yourself up with good feelings, but to change what your subconscious makes you think and do.

How can you practice them?

One of the best ways I practice affirmations is writing them down in a journal when I wake up in the morning, and again before I go to sleep.
